The sudden demise of Balika Vadhu fame Tv actress Pratyusha Banerjee came as a shock to many. The actress was just 24 when she allegedly committed suicide in the afternoon on 1st April 2016. Initial reports suggested that the former Bigg Boss 7  contestant hung herself at her apartment in Kandivali and unfortunately she was ‘declared dead on arrival' by the doctors of Kokilaben Hospital.

As per some  reports, it was her long time beau Rahul Raj Singh, who brought her to the hospital after he saw Pratyusha hanging on her apartment thinking that she is still alive. But strangely, Rahul left her dead body in the hospital and went absconding with her phone.

Some say she committed suicide as she found Rahul Raj Singh cheating on her over a girl named Saloni Sharma while others believe that it was her long outstanding debts that forced her to end her life.
